Parachute's New Album Announcement & Tour Dates | News

Friends -

We've got lots of news coming your way!

First and foremost, we want to thank you for your patience as we've been working on our new album! We're very excited to let you all know that it's sounding great, and most importantly, that it's finished!

The album is called "OVERNIGHT" and we feel it's our best work yet. We can't wait to get new music to you, so we're releasing the album everywhere on August 13th, 2013! Start spreading the word and get excited for new tunes! We'll have a pre-order up soon and may even give a few sneak peaks of new songs before then.

In celebration of the new album, we're doing a headlining tour in August and September. We'll be playing all over the country and bringing out our good friend Matt Hires to open up the shows. The tickets go on sale TODAY and tomorrow for most of the cities! They WILL sell out, so make sure to get your tickets as quickly as you can. Check the tour dates below to see if we're coming near you.

We're excited to get back on the road, see you all, and play some of these new songs!

What's happening?!

Hopefully only the coolest of things. If so, we're all on the same page. We wanted to let you in on what's been going on lately and what's coming up really soon. First off, thank you so much for all the positive feedback we've gotten on our lead single "Can't Help". We've been playing it on and off at our shows since the Fall, so we're really pumped that the release is on iTunes today and finally in your hands! It's been a great way to kick-off this Summer, and we want to keep the positive vibes going all week. We're gonna be all over Facebook, Twitter, turntable, Google and whatever else we can find a way to login into. Here's our schedule so far:

Tuesday at 6pm | Turntable.fm - Get that Tuesday night pregame party rocking the right way, with us!!

Wednesday at 5pm | Twitter - Ask us anything – use #CantHelp so we see your questions!

Report: Expectations exceeded on all fronts. NeedToBreathe are phenomenal performers as well as friendly and courteous individuals. The fans are top notch. Every night is a complete success. We are a third of the way through the tour and have taken the stage 7 times. Venues range from historical theaters to college auditoriums and classic rock clubs. Crowds have shown tremendous positive energy. We've conducted mid and post show rendezvous at the merchandise zone with these sonic fundamentalists which have proven to be paramount to our resolve. These are kind people; we look forward to meeting more of them.

Transport has taken significant heat in several different territories over the past week. Just outside of 35.6008° N, 82.5542° W (Asheville, NC) we took on fatal damage to both passenger side trailer tires. Current conditions are stable. Total mileage to date is 4000; averaging 400 miles a day.

13 events remain. We look forward to performing at the highest and most inspired level achievable. These nights are taken very seriously by our camp; we respectfully thank you for providing us the opportunity to serve you.
